Hello, my name is John Sack, I own & operate SACK'S CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING. I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my web site. I hope this will inform you of the world of carpet & fabric care. I have been cleaning carpets for approximately 20 yrs +. In that time I have been certified in the areas of Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Odor Control, and Carpet Repair & Reinstallation by The Institute of Inspection Cleaning And Restoration Certification (IICRC). I have spent a year as director of the ISCT (International Society Of Cleaning Technicians) and I also network continually with other cleaning technicians across the world.
When I come to your home you will have already been given a close estimate of the cost. I will come in and do a brief inspection of the carpet, address any of your concerns & choose the best cleaning agent for the particular jobs. I do extraction cleaning, which is recommended by all the major carpet manufacturers. This is the best method of deep cleaning carpet. The carpet will be damp upon completion. Air movement across the surface speeds drying time. (Fans or open windows). Furniture dries in about an hour. Damp carpet needs to dry before walking on them. Carpets that are walked on before drying can re-soil quickly, so this is very important. Carpets do not re-soil quickly after I have cleaned them because of the high quality cleaning agents, equipment and education.
I do not do volume cleaning like most cleaners. I am the person who comes to your home and does the work. This means I do a good job of cleaning your carpets & fabrics. I schedule my day depending on the size of the jobs not how many I can cram in one day. If I'm doing a whole house that's all I usually do that day. This means truly clean carpets for you.
Your carpet & upholstery are probably the third biggest investment you have next to your house & car. To take care of them and to keep them looking and performing as they should they need to be cleaned on a REGULAR basis, according to the major carpet manufacture, IIRC, ISCT & CRI (CARPET RESEARCH INSTITUTE). All of these recommend carpets and fabrics be cleaned every 12 to 18 months, more often if there are children, pets or heavy traffic areas, in which case about every 6 months. To some this may seem like a lot but when you realize the cost and inconvenience of replacement it is well worth the time and $ MONEY $.
Some people say my carpets don't look dirty so why clean them. Indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air and with the airtight homes we live in these days this can be a real problem. Carpet is the biggest air filter in your home. This is a FACT. Like all air filters once it's full the particles it is holding go airborne. These particles include dust, dust mites, dust mite feces, pollen, mold spores, bacteria, viruses, dead skin cells not eaten by dust mites, hair and who knows what else. If you have allergies this is serious. If you don't have allergies this is serious, you can develop them. Some people who have allergies pull out their carpeting, this is not necessary the only people who should pull their carpet because of allergies are people who are allergic to carpeting itself. People who have allergies just need to clean the carpets on a regular schedule and have them cleaned properly. These are all FACTS from scientific studies that are constantly ongoing. What this all sums up to is have your carpets cleaned on a regular basis for health reasons and to save you money.
We also clean oriental rugs, clean vehicle interiors, do leather cleaning, pet odor control, spot dyeing, whole room carpet dyeing, soil filtration removal (black lines along baseboards & under doors) and carpet repair & carpet re-stretching. Please feel free to call to answer any other questions you may have or to schedule a time have your carpets cleaned.
Sincerely,
John J. Sack
